Happy Thursday everyone!

Blogging has been quite an adventure for me.  There are so many positive aspects that have been unbelievable and exciting.  In addition to meeting new friends I was also introduced to a lot of products that I have never heard of or may not be willing to spend the money to try.  One of the perks of having your own blog is to have the opportunity to review products that you would otherwise have to spend money for them.  One of the product reviews that I enjoy doing is skincare.  I’ve always been the skincare junkie and constantly looking for the right products to achieve that youthful glow (I have yet gone under the knife or inject botox and like to keep it that way).  Well, that comes with a price because there are so many products out there that claim to do X,Y, and Z for your skin and makes you want to try them all!  I have reviewed a number of skincare products since the inception of this blog. The most recent one that I’d like to share with you is from Sircuit Comeceuticals.  They sent me their 7 Essentials Collection Kit to review.

The claim:

All SIRCUIT® Cosmeceuticals product formulations utilize advanced, “body friendly”, Chiral Technology to separate out the correct side of the active ingredient molecule and only use the side of the ingredient molecule that fits, ensuring ultimate absorption. Another great benefit is, by eliminating the other, “ineffective” side of the ingredient molecule, you have less chance for any adverse reactions (which is great news for those of us with sensitive skin).

The Sircuit 7 Essentials Collection Kit contains 7 different samples of Sircuit’s best selling products.  This collection offers an assortment which is great for all skin types and addresses cleansing, exfoliating, anti-aging/firming, eye treatment, hydrating, and moisturizing.   They are super concentrated, pure product sample sizes of X-Trap™+  cleanser, Molecular Mist™+ hydrating mist, White Out™+ under eye treatment, Day Care™+ moisturizer, Sircuit Addict™+ anti-aging serum, Cloud 9™+ night crème and Sir Activ™+ scrub.  These products are free of artificial preservatives, colors, or fragrance and always cruelty free.

Expert opinion:

Chiral Technology is based on the 1848 discovery by Louis Pasteur that all molecules have 2 identical sides or shapes. Scientific research has also confirmed that although both sides of a molecule may appear identical, they do not always feature the same properties or benefits. In contrast, it has also been firmly established that the human body is selective about which side of a particular molecule shape is able to form a perfect bond with the skin’s cells (or cell receptors) in order for that particular ingredients benefits to absorb.

When a product is Chirally Correct, it means that it contains only the side of the molecules with the ability to give the desired results (by the way, always identified on the product label by either an L for the left side of the molecule or D for the right side, before each of the ingredients). When you use only the “effective” side of an ingredient molecule you are guaranteed that each ingredient has the greatest targeted benefits possible.

Mama’s take:

I’ve been using the Sircuit 7 Essentials Collection kit for the past couple weeks even though it was supposed to last only 1 week.  The only sample that did not last more than 7 days was the Molecular Mist hydrating mist.  I think I sprayed a little too much at each use because it felt soooo good!  I have to say that I was very impressed with Sircuit’s skincare products.  The minute I started using them I felt my forehead instantly tightened like I just got a mini face lift.  I also noticed my forehead lines (I have them since high school) are not as deep set as it used to be.  Out of the 7 Essentials kit my favorites are  Sircuit Addict™+ firming anti-aging serum,  Molecular Mist™+, Cloud 9™+ night crème, and Sir Activ™+ scrub.  I love the Day Care™+ moisturizer but it would be best if SPF was added.  I had to use an SPF moisturizer on top of that.  After using these products for a couple weeks, my skin felt plump, hydrated, and firm.  I did take the before and after photos so that I could share with you but unfortunately my ‘before’ photo was too blurry and my ‘after’ photo’s lighting was poor, which would not show too well.  Their products are concentrated and the prices are steep but you get a lot more in return because they are so worth it!
