Beauty Buzz: My Summer Must Haves

This week I’m sharing my summer must haves since summer has already started and the heat is on.  Summer is my least favorite season but this list of arsenal will help me survive the heat avalanche.

1. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 45:  I cannot live without this sunscreen in summer, if not year round.  It is light but provides maximum coverage.

2. Aviator Sunnies:  I love my oversized sunnies but I these are so versatile that I can virtually pair them with any outfit, especially the casual ones in the summer.

3. Stila Lip Glaze:  I love lip glazes and have always stayed true and loyal with MAC.  Lately, I decided to try a new line that I’ve been seeing online and at my frequent Sephora visits, Stila.  I’m in love with Stila’s lip glazes now!  All I need is a swipe of that tasty shimmering cream on my lips with no makeup and my confidence is in overdrive!

4. Neutrogena SPF for Wet Skin:  I just love Neutrogena’s SPF line and this one (made for kids) is no exception.  Our entire family uses this bottle whenever we use our pool or spend the day at the beach!

5. Straw Hat:  I’m not a hat person but a hat (any hat if I couldn’t locate my straw hat) is essential for those late afternoon walks and beach hangouts.  A stylish accessory that also protects your skin from the sun is a plus in my book!

6. Argan Oil:  You guys know how much I rave about argan oil and I use this oil on my hair not just for summer but pretty much year round. It really keeps my hair conditioned without looking greasy.

7. Waterproof Mascara:  I wear waterproof mascara year around, especially in the summer.  I curl my lashes because they are very straight but only waterproof mascara can keep them from smudging on my face.

8. Nuance BB Cream:  I wrote a review about this and I swear by this product.  I know not everyone likes this BB cream but my skin LOVES it.  I love that it gives my face that dewy look while offering SPF30 to protect my skin.

9. L’Oreal Magic Lumistick:  This stuff is magic…yes it is.  I mix this with my Nuance BB cream to give that subtle glow look.  I now cannot live without it.

10. Sandals:  By default I wear these sandals every summer.  They are convenient and casual outerwear acceptable.  Great for the beach, pool and BBQ parties!
