I’m not a snacker nor do I have a sweet tooth.  My kids aren’t either…can’t speak for my hubby though!  However, we do enjoy a good snack here and there.  If they happen to be healthy that’s even better.  Our favorite snack that we as a family enjoy are these quesadillas made with organic whole wheat & corn tortillas .  They aren’t just good…they are good for you!  Whole-wheat tortillas are a healthy choice because they’re low in fat, sodium and simple sugars and high in fiber. The best part is that it only takes 10 minutes or less to make, which is always a plus for this busy mama.

There are only 3 ingredients for this snack: organic chicken (leftovers are the best) sliced, organic monterey jack cheese, and organic whole wheat & corn flour tortillas.  And no, these ingredients are not as expensive as you think!!!

  1. I love this, so wholesome and looks very tasty as well. We tend to consume junk food just because they are so convenient especially when we are short of time. But with snacks like this there really is no excuse. I’m determined to compile a list of similar healthy convenient snacks. Thanks for sharing
