When it comes to being a mom, there’s almost nothing we can’t do. Juggling from soccer practice to dance, from breakfast to dinner, and from kid to kid, we somehow make it all happen. It’s hard enough managing eighty million things at once, but what really grinds my gears is not having an organized space to task-manage effectively. For me, all it takes is one roller-skate in the hall for me to go flying off my handle (literally), and crash into one of those wretched nothing-is-right kind of days.
Over the years I’ve learned how to bypass these sorts of obstacles and remain cool, calm, and collected so that my kids get to enjoy the best of me. And I do too! At my best is when everything has a place. That’s why it was a top priority for my kids to have closet organizers so they can learn how to keep their things in place too. It makes their rooms personal, gives them responsibility, and sets up tasks that they can finish and feel accomplished for. It also reduces the chances of me falling on my face!
When it comes to the rest of the house, having good home office design is another hugely important aspect of keeping on top of things. Being a full-time mom means that between all the riff raff I’m also taking care of our finances, and my part-time business. So I need a home office space that is central, organized, and helps keep me focused.
With the right kind of organizational solutions, you can create any room just the way you want it, including of course the entertainment center for him. I try to keep everybody happy! Most importantly, find design that works for you! After all, you are the glue that keeps everything together!

I totally agree about being organized. I have to get some more bins to organize all my son’s crafts. It’s getting out of hand.
