Happy Sunday everyone!
||Wearing: Equipment boyfriend cashmere sweater, Levis 535 Legging, Sam Edelman Louie Boots, Target Sunglasses, JCrew necklace (old, love this and this)||
We were heading out for our usual family weekend breakfast yesterday and I decided to wear my boyfriend sweater that’s been sitting in the closet for a while. This is one of my closet staples that I pull out every fall/winter if I need to inject a splash of color into my outfit. For the breakfast venue, I paired the sweater with my Levi’s skinnies and Sam Edelman booties because it was the quickest way to get dressed and still look presentable.
Well, soon after snapping these pictures I pulled my right hip while getting in the car. Hubby said it was the combination of holding the boys ( 2 at a time weighing 60+ lbs. total) too often and wearing heels..LOL! I agree with the former because the boys are getting heavier and I’m getting older. Aging comes with more ailments and brittle bones. I used to have this internal pain on the left side of my neck but it is no longer there…that pain now transferred to elsewhere!
Damn it, I just recovered from my flu and now I’m recovering from this hip pain as I type this. No matter how healthy you eat and how often you exercise, neck pain, back pain, or hip pain can present itself when least expected. All I can do now is stop picking up the boys (hard to resist when they open their arms with wide eyes going mama…mama…hold please) and rest.

Sorry to hear about your hip, sounds painful. It’s funny because I’ve been having pain in my hips for a few weeks now. I notice when I get up from my desk chair at work, ugh! I should probably get it checked out.
Love the pink sweater paired up with the skinny jeans and booties, super chic!
Thank you Aracely!
love this casual chic look! That is a great color on you!

The color of that sweater is perfect on you!
Thank you Rachel!
Lovely as always, Janise! Great color on a brunette, especially on you … and so cool with the skinnies and jewels. So nice to see you enjoying the sun with your growing boys! Be careful picking up … you are far too young for brittle bones and there’s a lot you can do about that before it starts. But muscles are vulnerable always. Take care. Get rest. And lift with your knees! Before you know it they’ll be picking you up!
I know! Thank you for the advice Jan 🙂
Love the sweater – it’s a GREAT color. I’m sorry about your hip.. my hip flexor muscle has been pulled for close to 3 months. I haven’t been able to work out because of it! 🙁

Great sweater! I love a nice soft thin sweater that doesn’t bind or itch. Here is hoping I can find one at my 50% Off Sale venture on Monday at my local thrift haunt. Darling blog design, you have too. Sorry for the late comments but I had a new grandson on Monday that had lung complications. He is improving but it was touch and go there for a while. Glad to be blogging and visiting in blogland once again. Awh ~
I hope your grandson will get better!
Such a pretty necklace! You look gorgeous!
Thank you Sherry!
