Hello there! Hope your weekend is go well so far.

We stopped by one of our favorite restaurants near hubby’s work {stay tuned for an upcoming post about Hubby the Great!} for breakfast before heading out to see Sesame Street Live the Musical. It feels fantastic to be 100% normal again. In case you missed my previous posts, 1 week after recovering from the flu I pulled my right hip! I think the universe was trying to tell me to stop picking up my twin boys at the same time. You know what? It worked. We kept telling the boys that Mama Tone Tone (mama in pain in Chinese) and they understood. Now, they want to sit on my lap when watching tv or reach for my hands just because they want to hold my hands. I do miss picking them up and holding them though. I knew it would end someday but I just didn’t expect it to be so soon.
During the meal, hubby and I chatted about how fast the boys have grown. We no longer need to carry a diaper bag filled with diapers and milk nor do we need to lug the stroller around with us. We sold our stroller and the boys walk with us wherever we take them. They are used to it now and never once complained about being tired.
You will notice on these photos that my arms are bare. I was so busy getting the boys ready that I somewhat forgot about finish dressing myself. My typical going out routine is to get my hair and makeup done first followed by my outfit. I try to get ready first without wearing my accessories because they can get in the way while I dress the boys. Once the boys are ready I grab my purse and put on my necklace, bracelets, and watch. Well, this time I grabbed the purse and the necklace but left the rest on the kitchen counter. My left wrist felt naked without them the first couple hours but I later got used to not wearing them. This ensemble doesn’t look so bad and it made me realize that sometimes you don’t need a lot of accessories to make a statement and just keep your outfit simple…now that’s a statement.

Very cute! I’ve been looking at a few sweater dresses this week. I wasn’t sure what kind of shoe to do with them but the booties are really nice!
Thank you Tiffany!
What a cute sweater dress!
Thank you Betty!
I really like that sweater dress! I always tend to forget about wearing jewelry, so I’m more often seen without it. I don’t think there’s anything missing in your outfit!
Thank you Rachel!
I love the sweater dress! You look very beautiful:) kisses Beata
Thank you Beata!
I totally relate to the only having a minute to dress. I feel like I have to get ready at warp speed.
Love your sweater dress. So pretty. Sorry you pulled your hip but glad your boys are being understanding and helpful.

You look amazing and the dress is so cute. I can’t imagine how busy you must be with twins… and then getting sick on top of it. Glad to hear you are on the mend, and I hope it lasts through the holidays!
Thank you Seana!
Happy to see you back & looking great Janise….so that’s why I think you lost some lbs because of the flu. I’m a big fan of sweater dresses actually so this one you’re wearing is so right up my alley!

Great outfit! Love the dress, it looks great on you. Glad to hear you’re feeling a little better
Thank you Jacquelyn!
Simple, beautiful and unusual … love the textures! I worry about necklaces snagging knits, but so far, so good! I’m just a coward.
I know what you mean … I’ve been removing my wedding rings at night to slather on cream, but sometimes forget to put them back before going out of the house. Bad habit, and hard to break!
So glad you’re feeling better.
Thank you Jan!
