Happy Tuesday everyone!
I’m sure you have read enough about my simple beauty routine by now. I was recently contacted to review a makeup remover called Wonder Cloth. Here’s my take on this review…
The Goods:
Wonder Cloth Make- Up Remover Cloth ($15)
The Claim:
The Wonder Cloth is an All Natural, Make-up Removing Cloth that you use with just warm water to naturally remove all makeup, oils and pollutants delicately off your skin. It is made from a unique combination of plant pulp and 100% cotton fibers which massage, exfoliate and penetrate deep into your pores, leaving your skin smoother, cleaner and healthier. The Wonder Cloth is 100% Hypoallergenic, Dermatologist tested, and free from chemicals.
Expert Opinon:
The Wonder Cloth removes all your make-up natural with water. It naturally deep cleanses the skin and removes all dirt, oil and pollutants trapped in your skin. It will also exfoliate with the smoothest and the most delicate silky feeling. Your complexion becomes smoother, softer and healthier. The Wonder Cloth will last twice as long as a standard wash cloth and can be used again and again as part of your makeup removing routine.
Mama’s Take:
First off, I don’t normally use a makeup remover to remove my makeup. I should. But I don’t. I started using baby shampoo to wash my face a few months ago when I ran out of my Aveeno facial cleanser. The drawback with not using a makeup remover first is that I have to wash my face a few times with the baby shampoo/cleanser in order to remove my makeup completely.
Then I was contacted by the Wonder Cloth folks to give this Wonder Cloth a test run. I was very skeptical at first. I have never heard of them and what kind of a cloth can remove makeup without liquid or suds? Is this a joke or a scam? Well, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to try it. I was speechless when I first used the cloth. My makeup was gone from my face and the cloth looked like it has never been used. I could not believe it…it’s like magic..BAM…makeup gone! Whatever this cloth is made out of I WANT IT PERMANENTLY!
The Wonder Cloth is now part of my beauty maintenance routine. I remove my makeup with this cloth first, then wash my face with baby shampoo and followed by my skin care products. The cloth is sold for $9.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond, Rite Aid and also on their website at www.wondercloth.com for $15 I think the price is quite reasonable since it will last a long time. I can’t wait to travel with this cloth…one 8 oz. liquid is eliminated from the zipper bag at security checkpoint…now that’s AWESOMENESS!

Hi all,
I’m from South Africa (and almost 58) and has been using my wonder cloth for 10 YEARS to the day. I received it in the orangey packaging as a gift and yes, it was bought at B… and Beyond. It washes beautifully, cleanse like anything you haven’t tried yet and is still my No 1 beauty secret. I have a sensitive to dry skin and no problems whatsoever with the material this is made of. WELL DONE. I’ve tried other cloths but nada, nothing comes close to this product. Wish I could buy it in SA!!
All the best.
Amanda
