Happy Friday, Everyone! Dante is feeling much better. Thank you for your comments and emails!!!
{I’m a late bloomer in everything except for my eyesight! I am prepared to embrace mid-life stylishly!}
Earlier this week I decided to do some pre-spring cleaning in my closet. It all started with cleaning up “that” pile of clothing sitting on the floor for weeks. Over the years, I avoided the spring-cleaning ritual like a plague. It always felt so overwhelming. But, this year is different. I (yes, moi) finally have my own, for lack of a better word, WIC (aka Walk in Closet). Some might call it “woman cave”. I call it “sanctuary”, a place that I can escape to for peace and quiet. So I strive to keep it clean, neat, and organized whenever I can.
While cleaning “that” pile I noticed my belts needed even more help. They were tangled, knotted and meshed in different shapes and forms. The belts too must have their own “sanctuary” that they can call home. So, I set off to HomeGoods (my all time favorite home store) to hunt for a belt organizer. To my disappointment I couldn’t find any. Of course I didn’t leave empty-handed so I picked up a few of these things while waiting in line at checkout…
{ a teapot for hubby’s daily Mate ritual}
{a jewelry glue that would piece my necklace stones back in place, and the tarnish remover to restore my silver bracelets}
{a buddha that I can rub its belly everyday for luck and fortune}
Thank you for visiting and have a fabulous and safe weekend!
