Hello everyone!
I’ve been a long-time fan and loyal customer of both TJ Maxx and Marshalls. They sell brand names at reduced prices! Nothing beats the thrill of treasure hunting. I love their shoes and clothing sections but have always been disappointed with their cosmetic section because there’s not much selection (good) going on there. So I tend to skip whenever I visit.
During my last visit at TJ Maxx I spotted Paula Dorf while waiting in line at checkout. Paula Dorf is one of my favorite cosmetic brands! Their lip glosses are my favorite. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a $3.50 price tag stamped on a Paula Dorf box of 10 lip glosses! Paula Dorf at TJ Maxx? When did this happen? Any other goodies? I immediately grabbed the box, left the check in line and darted over to the cosmetic section. Wow! There were more Paul Dorf lip glosses !!! So I picked up another box for $2.99 for 2 large tubes. I paid $6.40 plus tax for 12 lip glosses (15 piece retails $38 by the way)…what a steal!!! I love the texture of these lip glosses. They have thick consistency like lipstick but they are also very smooth and shiny. Out of all these nudes and pinks my favorite is the color Beach. The color is a golden nude with shimmer.
I also spotted the duo eye shadows with a brush from e.l.f. They were priced at $1.50 (retail $3.50 for each eye shadow). I love the colors but I love the price even more. I’m not much of an eye shadow person so spending $1.50 for these two colors that I can practice without limits was right up my alley. I didn’t care for the brush so I threw it away but the colors were amazing! I love the “celebrity” color because the light brown color with shimmer compliments my eyes and skin tone.
I will definitely spend more time at the cosmetic section on my next TJ Maxx visit. Who knows I may find Chanel!
I will be co-hosting this week’s Beauty Buzz link up with Nicole from Momtrends, Alison from Get Your Pretty On, and Lulu from Simply Lulu Style. Nicole is hosting this week’s Beauty Buzz link up so head over to Momtrends and link up your beauty post. Don’t forget to enter for a chance to win The Christine Duo (shampoo/conditioner) from Van Thomas Concepts.
Thank you so much for visiting and have a fabulous day!

I haven’t spied cosmetics there! Now I have another thing to hunt for.
Whaaat! That’s awesome! What a great find. The TJ Maxx equivalent up here in Vancouver is a place called Winners, where I can often find Orly and Essie nail polishes for fairly cheap 🙂
I love TJ Maxx and Marshalls. We have Winners too…such amazing cosmetic finds!
great score! Thank you for sharing your sweet blog at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop ♥
