There’s a lot of stress planning a wedding for the bride and groom as we all know it.  But really, being a wedding guest is a lot of stress too!  Picking the right outfit can be daunting because you don’t want to upstage the bride but at the same time you want to look smashing and fabulous!  In my opinion the best way to stand out in that sea of love is a fabulous statement necklace.  My latest necklace obsession is this piece by Lele Sadoughi from Halsbrook.

I’ve never heard of Halsbrook until I was contacted to collaborate with them.  In case you have not heard of Halsbrook, they are fairly new and they believe in quality, craftsmanship and enduring style, and present the most thoughtfully curated selection of the most timeless, elegant and wearable clothing and accessories from both European and American designers.  Every single piece in Halsbrook is meticulously hand picked and the pieces are priced for everyone from affordability to high end splurge.  I was hooked after the first 5 minutes of perusing their website.  There are so many elegant, timeless beautiful pieces to buy and invest.  Right now, they have markdowns with up to 60% off!!!

My jaw literally dropped when they sent me this necklace and earrings (stayed tune for an upcoming post about this!) from Lele Sadoughi to review.  Lele launched her own collection after collaborating with J.Crew from 2006 to 2011.  Her collection is a brand focused on creating a world of modern costume jewelry and home décor.

Let’s talk about this amazing necklace right now.  I can’t tell you how beautiful this necklace is in person.  This striking leaf necklace features hand-cut marbled stones set in 14K gold plated settings.  As soon as I laid eyes on this necklace I knew I can wear it to a couple upcoming weddings and other venues.   The first wedding calls for Black Tie Optional, and the dress that immediately popped into my mind to pair it with was this yellow silk shantung dress from Shoshanna.   Another wedding is a beach theme and I have the perfect maxi dress to go with this necklace.  I gotta say this necklace came through for me and I’m sure it will for many venues to come.

  4. Janise that necklace is STUNNING! It looks very high quality and is a fantastic accessory for a wedding. I really love how you’ve styled it with this bright yellow dress and brought out the blue in the stones with those fantastic and fun TopShop shoes.

Good for you for partnering with brands /websites that truly merit a little blogger attention and thank you for your honest opinion of what they sell. I also had a look at the site, and you’re right VERY high quality selection….and I’d never even heard of them before!
