Flat Iron Reviews: Ferrum Professional Styler + A Giveaway ($145)

I have a love and hate relationship with my hair. I love my hair after a blow dry but I hate it when they don’t behave, especially waking up in the morning. I have thick coarse straight hair…typical Asian hair. My hair takes the shape of how I slept in almost all the time. I usually wake up with a lopsided cone head hair (yup, that awesome gene got passed onto my twins!).  My hair gets dull and lifeless unless it gets shampooed.  I rely on hair styling tools to style my hair to give some volume and shine.  It’s not always a success.  I love my curling iron because I can create big beachy waves.  However, I’m not such a big fan of my flat iron.  It does not do a good job in straightening my hair and it tends to damage my hair more so than the curling iron. I later learned that my flat iron was made with high EMF (electromagnetic field) which was very damaging to hair.

Mama’s Take:

I immediately opened the box once the Professional Styler arrived.  Once plugged in it took less than a minute to heat up the plate.  The device was really easy to use and you can adjust the heat setting at desired temperature.  It took me less than 5 minutes to get my hair ready for a movie night with my boys!  I think I found the flat iron that is perfect for my hair!
