Sleeping In

I’m a Night Owl living in a Morning Lark’s world. I can stay as late as 1am every night and wake up at 6 or 7 in the morning. Before having the twins, I would stay up late as usual and would sleep in until 9 or 10 am the latest. That was pure joy and indulgence for me. How can one not like sleeping in?! Sleeping in can improve your long-term memory retention, memory organization, and learning. It will also make you less irritated or upset. Most of all, your skin will look so much better!
It took almost 3 years for me to get back to the “sleeping in ” habit. I no longer need to worry about waking up first thing in the morning to change diapers. Boys are potty trained and they are very independent whenever nature calls. So at least 1 day a week I sleep in and I am looking forward to this weekend’s simple indulgence. I hope you too can carve out some time to sleep in so you can enjoy such indulgence. Have a great Easter weekend everyone. Until next week, I will see you on the blog!
