What an exciting week! Not only will I be co-hosting the #AllAboutYou Link Up with Zaz at Mama and More starting today and for the next two weeks, I have recently been appointed as a Vegan Cuts Ambassador. My job as an Ambassador is to review their products and share them with you! So who is Vegan Cuts? Vegan Cuts is an online Marketplace selling the best vegan products around, including beauty, snacks and fashion. The Beauty Box is a monthly subscription box ($19.99 per month) that delivers 4 -7 vegan and cruelty – free products (a mix of full, travel and sample sizes) to your door. They feature mostly natural and organic products, which is right up in my alley! Shipping is free in the US, $8 to Canada and $15 Internationally. Here is my March Beauty Box and look what’s inside this box!!!
The Goods:
Cult Cosmetics: A California-made, 5-free nail polish in a sweet seasonal shade. Plus travel brushes.
KAIA Naturals: A brilliant bamboo and tapioca powder that works as a cleanser, exfoliator, and mask.
Petal Fresh: A shampoo with stimulating organic tea tree oil to invigorate your scalp and hair.
Azalia Spa Goods: Energizing grapefruit and mystical juniper body oils that protect, restore, and soothe your skin.
Shea Terra: A Whipped shea butter body cream with a tantalizing bourbon vanilla scent.39
Mama’s Take:
Over the weekend, I decided to create an at-home spa treatment by using all the products from this Beauty Box starting with the shampoo. The Petal Fresh scalp treatment shampoo left my scalp feeling fresh and clean. For my face, I was able to exfoliate my skin by mixing the KAIA Naturals tapioca powder with water. It left my face hydrated and dewy. For my bath, I added a few drops of the Azalia oil mixed with Epson salt. The oil prepped my skin for Sheaterra’s Moisturising Body Cream where I was able to apply this fabulous vanilla scent to my hands, feet and everywhere else. Talk about at home spa relaxation experience! As for my nails, I wasn’t sure if this pastel lavender polish would suit my skin tone but it wasn’t too shabby after applying 2 coats.
I think the Beauty Box concept is great because as a consumer you get to learn about other products that you would not have heard of otherwise. I can’t wait to see what my next Beauty Box goodies will be 🙂 Now onto a special treat today.
Disclosure: Although I was given products to review from Vegan Cuts, as always all opinions are my own.
