Welcome to week #15 of my spring capsule collection series. Yes, I know. This week is supposed to be week #16 for this series. Well, unexpected life events can happen and for the past few weeks it’s been quite busy and chaotic in this household. I was traveling a lot and could not squeeze in most photo shoots with G. Actually, I’m traveling for work again this week so things like this do happen. It’s not the end of the world that I had skipped a week. The internet didn’t die. I’m a busy working mom so I do the best I can to share my life with you.
So after 14 weeks of mixing and matching from my spring capsule collection I am finally able to feature this stripe swing dress on the blog. This dress is very comfortable and versatile. I chose to wear my gladiator flats for comfort for a photography training session I had with my photography teacher, Stacey.
Last week while traveling back to Vegas I had the opportunity to brush up on my photography skills with Stacey. She’s very talented by the way. Stacey taught me what I needed to know about photography when I first started blogging, but I still have so much to learn from her. It’s not easy. Photography is hard and takes a lot of patience and practice to master the skill. I personally think it’s a talent that you are born with and through patience and practice you can really master the skill.
While going through our sessions I convinced Stacey to have me feature her here on my blog. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping people who have so much talent to succeed. Like I said, Stacey is very talented and humble. She teaches Photography at UNLV and also works as an actress (we met through G).
These photos were taken on a really hot day (it’s Vegas baby!) with really harsh sunlight in the backrground and shadows in the foreground. Yet, she was able to capture these photos flawlessly and effortlessly, which left me with little or no work to edit the photos.
If you are in town and need a talented but affordable Photographer, contact Stacey via Instagram or Twitter. Of course, you can always follow her on Instagram to see her beautiful pictures! She’s also super fun to work with 🙂
