When Lisa, the owner from Simple Beauty Minerals, contacted me over a month ago to review her products I wasn’t sure if I was able to do it. I was too busy with my work and my editorial calendar was quite full, which means I won’t have time to dedicate to review the products and then write the post. But Lisa was very patient and she said that she could wait, and so here we are a little over a month later.
The Goods:
Glimmer Goddess Bronzer ($16)| Shimmer Peach Lipstick ($17)| Organic Lip Balm ($4)
The Claim:
Glimmer Goddess Bronzer: Not only will it give you color, minus the sun damage, but your skin will simply glimmer in the sun.
Shimmer Peach Lipstick: Creamy, moisturizing mineral color that lasts, without drying out the lips. Exotic oils such as macademia nut, and rich butters of cocoa and avocado combine to create warm, saturated color that won’t budge.
Organic Lip Balm: Skin Essentials handcrafted, organic lip balm with a lovely feel to them. They glide right on and protect your lips with organic olive oil, beeswax, essential oils & vitamin E.
Mama’s Take:
Although it took me this long to write this post, I have been using her products the day I received them. Simple Beauty Minerals, which are handcrafted soothing mineral products, really do speak for themselves. Lisa believes in simple natural beauty and healthy living, something we both have in common. Simple Beauty Minerals practices honest marketing, and you may be especially interested in their unique stance against photo shopping images of women on their site (which is a very unusual stance in the beauty industry).
I’m glad Lisa was patient enough to let me try her fabulous products. The bronzer has a slight blush tint with golden glimmer so I use it as a blush. The lipstick is moist and doesn’t dry out my lips while adding color. I love the organic lip balm because they glide right on and protect my lips with organic ingredients. For the past few business trips I couldn’t stop using these products. Wearing Simple Beauty Minerals products for meetings made me feel naturally beautiful and full of confidence. Thank you, Lisa!
