What is your blog about?

After closing my boutique several years ago, I still felt a need to communicate my style and have a voice within the style community, so I transitioned my store site into a blog platform. I try to stir clear of “fashion” posts and concentrate more on my personal style. I feel that consumers have a wide array of fashion sites to choose from, but what they sometimes need assistance with is the concept of style. How to put a look together? How to pair colors and combinations that will give that wow factor? I love color, and I love shoes just as much!

How often do you blog?

2-3 times per week

Best compliment you have received?

That I was a class act and always carry myself like a lady..

If you could be any age for a week, what age would that be and why?

If I could be any age for a week, I’d choose to be 23. I launched my first business at 23, and at that time I did not have a business mentor, or any sound advice to go on, I only had my dream. Along the way I had many successes, but also made many mistakes, and if I could go back in time, I’d use that week to revamp some ideas and make better choices.

If you could spend the day with any celebrity, who would it be?

If I had the opportunity to spend the day with a celebrity, it would be with either Oprah or Michelle Obama. They both have secured amazing platforms and represent such strength and grace, and to be in their presence would be an honor. Being allowed the opportunity to witness them tackle the day to day demands of career, family, and social consciousness, and yet still be graceful, poised would be amazing!

If you could retire tomorrow, what would you do?

I often kid with friends and loved ones and tell them that at the end of it all, I want to sit on a countryside front porch with a glass of iced tea and feel the breeze, and that is truly what I would consider “the life”. Of course, I would also feel the need for international travel and shopping excursions, but a chic countryside home is my dream.

Your dream vacation? Worst vacation? Best vacation?

My dream vacation would be a United Kingdom and European tour with stops in London, Paris, Rome; to include all of the couture fashion houses and ateliers (primarily Chanel). I’d enjoy brunch and tea on the Parisean sidewalks and glam nights at the local hot spots.
