Welcome to the School Drop Off Attire series where each week I share what my “usual” school drop off attire looks like. I don’t have a lot of time every day so the quicker I can get ready the better. At the same time I don’t want to look like I literally rolled out of bed. I always keep the three Cs (casual, classy and Chic) in mind whenever I get dressed in the morning to drop the twins off to school.

I wore this outfit yesterday when the weather decided to take a break from its heat wave.   This is one of my favorite casual looks because it’s incredibly comfy (I know I’m overusing this phrase but I love to be in comfy clothes!).  This outfit can be worn anywhere from dropping your kids off at school to having lunch with your friends.

As mentioned last week, you can’t go wrong with a pair of denim – they go with everything!  A while ago, I frayed the denim on my own but you don’t have to fray your denim to pull off this look.  If you really want to achieve the frayed denim look (and it’s on-trend right now!) just grab a pair of scissor and some sandpaper – it takes less than 5 minutes!

Do you have something similar in your closet?  If not, no worries because I located some similar items for a lot less.

  1. You may be my new best friend. I am terrible at dressing myself. But, I can look at your posts and copy your great finds. This is awesome!!!
