The weather here in LA has been quite chilly – well, at least to me. I can not walk around our home without socks even though the heater is blasting. My body no longer can tolerate the heat. I guess you call that old age!?
Last mid-week the weather suddenly decided to warm up a bit. Although it was short but I was able to bust out my LBD and trench coat that I typically wear for fall. Having a set of closet staples ( I call them my core fashion staples) that I can easily change into can set the tone for the day. This eliminates the need for me to struggle with finding the “right clothing” to put on.
I love mixing and remixing these core fashion staples because they never go out of style. That’s why most women invest in classic and timeless clothing items – more bang for your buck.
For the past couple months I have worn this dress at least 3 times pairing with a sweater or a blazer for work. I wore the trench coat with jeans and sweaters a couple times due to the rain. The remix is endless.
Regardless what temperature the weather decide to hover at I know I can always count on my core fashion staple pieces to look stylish and put together for years to come.
