Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was mildly quiet. I was out with hubby and the twins on Saturday for breakfast and then met up with some friends after. I had a blast just spending time with them hanging out and talking – oh, the homemade food was superb too!!!
Since I started my job over a month ago I have been sharing my work wear with you on a weekly basis. This week I’d like to share what I normally wear for casual Fridays at work.
As much as I would like to wear my ripped jeans every day, it is not office-appropriate in any way shape or form. That would be poor judgement on my part. How can your customers and colleagues take you seriously if you were decked out in a ripped outfit!? That’s what weekends are for – wear whatever you want and no-one will judge you.
As mentioned previously, I love shopping for clothes that are classic, timeless and versatile. Turtleneck sweaters can’t get more classic, timeless and versatile than this one I’m sporting. Made of 100% wool with a price tag of $34 after a huge discount, you can’t find a better bargain than that. When I saw these button-trimmed jeans with a sleek wide-leg silhouette I couldn’t resist to snatch them up. Of course, with a price tag of $39 plus an additional 30% off who can resist?
See a pattern here? Quality, timeless items at affordable prices!!!
Remember, you don’t need to buy a whole new wardrobe for work when it comes to business and/or casual wear. I’m sure you have a turtleneck sweater stash somewhere that you can take out and remix with your current wardrobe. If not, it is definitely worth the investment because you can pair this top with almost any outfit for years to come.
