casual day-1casual day-1-2casual day-1-3casual day-2-2casual day-2Happy Monday!  I hope your weekend treated you well.

My weekend was interesting.  Hubby was not home on V day but he did send something to me – to our second home in Vegas!  Well, I guess you can say that I did get my gift virtually 🙂

Gift or not on V day, Hubby & I celebrated a few days before February 14.  We had made a reservation at Bestia 3 months ago (that’s their average waiting list) but it turned out the reservation was nowhere to be found – note to self, confirm the reservation a month in advance for a restaurant like this.  As much as we wanted to dine at this restaurant it was not practical to eat at 10pm (first available slot) on a Thursday night.

Instead, we went to Osawa and went all out at the sushi bar.  It was one of our best meals ever – the food, the service, the ambiance and certainly the unexpected beautiful weather pushed this date night to a 5 star rating.

This week I’m sharing my off duty style I normally wear (nothing new to some of you who have been following me) on the weekends during fall/winter.  The quickest way for me to get out of the house last minute is to throw on a knit sweater, denim and a pair of pumps.  This is my typical go-to casual look when everything else fails.  You can’t really go wrong with an outfit like this unless you’re heading to a private club to dine.

Outfit Details:

VINCE Knit Sweater (similar style for $19)
Distressed Denim
Miu Miu Pumps (old, similar style)
Coach Boyfriend Watch
Chloe Drew Saddle Bag
