I guess the honeymoon is over. 3 digit heat descended upon us 1 day before the first day of summer, my least favorite season of the year. Unlike most people, my body doesn’t respond well to heat. I feel unproductive, groggy, lazy, and at times sleepy. This can pose a challenge when it comes to getting chores done on time and putting an outfit together.
I tend to gravitate towards the basics like shorts, camis, and flip flops after work and on the weekends to combat the heat. When I saw this stripes and bows cotton cami I knew it would be a great addition to my summer wardrobe. It’s billowy but very comfortable and absorbs the heat quite well. And, who can resist the stripes and bows!
I wore this cami on Sunday with a pair of white ripped jeans. Although the temperature amounted to nearly 110 over that day, this top kept me cool the entire time. I know this top will be in heavy rotation throughout this summer and a definite must pack item for our upcoming family trip to Quebec!
