Lemon Water
We can’t deny that drinking water is good for you. Nor can we deny eating lemons can have great health benefits.. When the two are combined it’s a recipe for health improvements. This week I’d like to share what both hubby & I do habitually on a daily basis for this month’s Healthy Living Habits series.
Everyday we both drink a glass of warm lemon water in the morning. We’ve been doing this for months and more often than not this habit has helped our health in so many ways. Here are some of the benefits why drinking this affordable health elixir are good for you:
Nº1 Improve Digestion
Drinking a glass of warm water with some lemons first thing in the morning can help flush the digestive system and rehydrate the body.
Nº2 Boost Immune System
Lemons contain vitamin C and potassium. Enuf said.
Nº3 Glowing Skin
Same as #2 but because lemon water can help to flush the body and improve digestion it can lead to cleaner skin. Because it also contains vitamin C which is needed for collagen production for that glowing skin.

It helps flush out the toxins in your body by enhancing enzyme function, stimulating your liver.
Nº5 Freshens Your Breath
The acid of the lemons leaves your breath feeling fresh.
Nº6 Helps Fight Viral Infections
Warm lemon water is the most effective way to diminish viral infections. I remember getting an upset stomach at night once and after a glass of warm water with lemons it quickly subsided!
The cost is minimal but the health benefits are priceless. So, this is something worth investing in – your health.
