I am a self-proclaimed SPF addict because sun protection is important to me. I slather myself with SPF from head to told regardless of the season…okay for winter, only the face. I also do the same for the twins. They are so used to applying this cream that they would remind me or their dad to put “the lotion that kills the sun” as they would call it, if we were to forget.
This weekend was no different. Along with Aveeno’s SPF 30 we hit the beach in the late afternoon and stayed there until it was closed. Here’s my take on AVEENO PROTECT + HYDRATE®LOTION SUNSCREEN WITH BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30

My Take:
I have used different types of SPF but by far this one exceeds my expectations. We are no strangers to Aveeno products but this one we did not try until a few weeks ago. The cream is super soft with a buttery feel. Unlike most SPF products, this one does not have the SPF smell. It is also not greasy. On top of that it is sweat and water proofed for up to 80 minutes instead of every 30 or 45 like other SPF products. Not having the need to re-apply SPF every 30 minutes on the twins saved us time and allowed us to enjoy the moment. The sun was blazing hot last Saturday but the twins did not suffer any burns thanks to Aveeno with only one application!
