“What is your style?” I often get asked. A lot. Maybe because I’m all over the place!?
To be honest with you, I really don’t know. I feel like I have evolved over the years but more often than not, I wear whatever I feel comfortable based on my mood.
Regardless of style, I always keep a set of classic neutrals as my baseline to mix with trends. I tend to get excited with new trends but I usually ended up trying a couple each time to update my look.
One of the trends that I’m excited about this fall is trumpet sleeves. When I saw this dress I knew it would be perfect for brunch or a night out for fall. It’s girly, feminine, and very affordable.
I know, the dress itself has a lot going on – big prints with over the top sleeves. The trick to ground this look is to tone down everything else. I finished this look with matching brown suede blocked heels and bag. I can see myself wearing this dress again with over the knee boots.
I wore this outfit for a night out with hubby and kids to celebrate my birthday last week. I felt very feminine and young, and that was the kind of mood I was in that night.
