Welcome to April’s Beauty Craze. Each month, I share all things beauty related from makeup to hair-treatment. As you all are aware, I’m a self-proclaimed beauty junkie. So, it’s not a surprise that I can’t stop sharing beauty related things with you. This month I couldn’t wait to share what just landed on my doorstep – April Box from GlossyBox.

Nº 1 COLOURPOP: COSMETICS ULTRA MATTE LIPPIES
This thin, lightweight formula smoothly glides on the lips leaving intense pigment with a bold, ultra-matte look. It is long-wearing and 100% kiss-proof. The hot pink is a bit bright for my skin tone but the nude color is perfect!
Tips: Always exfoliate your lips first for the smoothest finish! In addition, if you want to play with the matte look, top it with a gloss.
Nº 2 DOUCCE: MAXLASH VOLUMIZER MASCARA
Intensify your lashes with outrageous volume and length! The XL brush fiber bristles glide through the lashes evenly, coating each lash with the velvet carbon black formula that enhances the lashes by adding depth and dimension.
I have a favorite that I’m currently using but this one is not so bad. It is in the queue and will be used once I’m done with my other mascara.
Nº 3 VASANTI COSMETICS: BRIGHTEN UP! ENZYATIC FACE REJUVENATOR
This triple action formula brightens and breaks down dead skin with papaya enzyme, exfoliates with micro-crystals to help smooth your skin’s surface, and cleanses with an aloe-enriched cream gel.
I’ve been using an oil facial cleaner (stay tuned for my review on an upcoming post) and my face feels so clean and smooth after using this cream gel.
Tidbit: Papaya enzymes help dissolve dead skin and debris while fading dark spots and evening out your skin tone.
Nº 4 GILCHRIST & SOAMES: BEEKIND SHOWER GEL & BODY LOTION
With a fresh lemon verbena fragrance and extracts of honey and certified organic calendula extracts, the BeeKind Shower Gel and Body Lotion are as soothing as they are eco-friendly. You have to try these…they smell delicious and sweet like honey!
Tidbit: This company supports honey bee and sustainable pollination research at the University of California at Davis Entomology Department by donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the BeeKind Collection to the University’s Honey Bee Research Program.
Nº 5 VINCE CAMUTO: CIAO EAU DE PARFUM
Ciao celebrates the spontaneity and energy of the modern woman’s lifestyle! With notes including Italian Mandarin, rose, jasmine, Indonesian Patchouli and Glowing Amber, this is my current new favorite scent. So. Heavenly.
Tip: Apply a dab of this fragrance to each wrist and behind each ear, touching the pulse points that will best amplify the fragrance. Do not rub your wrists together, but rather let the fragrance air dry on your skin.
Nº 6 BEAUTY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER (MYSTERY BONUS PRODUCTS)
The Beauty Shampoo and Conditioner work with all hair types and is safe for everyday use and for color-treated hair. Leaving you with soft, smooth, healthy and great-smelling hair. I tested the shampoo and the conditioner that night when I received the box and my felt so nice and bouncy the next day.
Tip: Wet hair then massage shampoo onto scalp and hair. Rinse and repeat if desired. Apply conditioner to wet hair after shampooing. Gently massage into hair and scalp, then rinse well.
This is my second box from GlossyBox and it didn’t disappoint. I love trying new products and subscriptions like GlossyBox where it allows me to test the products before investing them. I highly recommend this subscription if you have not tried it.
