SUMMER OUTFIT #5
August is tomorrow but summer is still in full swing. Last week I shared what you should wear to a wedding. This week, I’m sharing what to wear to a museum.
Although summer is not a major museum-going that should not stop you from being one of the art gawkers. Dressing up for museums can sometimes be difficult depending on which museums you are visiting. Most museums do not have strict dress rules that bar you from entering.
My advice is to wear something nice and comfortable so that you are able to look artfully stylish while you breeze through any museums. And you certainly don’t need to spend a fortune to do so. This dress from 1 2 3 Paris is stylish, breezy, comfortable, and chic. And these pumps from Marion Parke that I’m wearing in these photos are extremely comfortable. You can read my full review here.
As mentioned in the previous post, my hope is that through this series you can locate the outfits easier, faster, and cheaper while looking stylish and polished. Scroll down for some outfits and shoes that are under $150
STYLING TIPS
If you can avoid it, do not wear flip-flops to museums. You definitely don’t want to look too sloppy on your museum trip. And always bring a light cardigan/jacket because most indoor museums are cooler than usual.

Thank you, Patti. I love this dress and the shoes are so comfortable!
Hi Janise. What a beautiful dress. I think I would personally wear low heel shoes to a museum, just to be on the safe side. And the cardigan is a must indeed. I think cardigans are very practical for many occasions, like city trips and also in the classroom, since temperatures can be very versatile there as well (tell me!).
I agree with you. Low heels would be a better choice. I love these heels though because they are 3.5″ and very very comfortable to walk around. And, they give me a few inches more in height 😉
