off-the-shoulder I wore this gorgeous off-the-shoulder dress on our last trip to Vegas a couple weeks ago.  When I first saw it I knew it would be the perfect dress not just for the trip but also for this summer and many more summers to come.  The dress is made of linen and cotton with buttons in the front and a belt that ties around the waist.

With the heat that’s been blasting away in LA and Vegas (our recent trip), a shoulder-baring dress was practical.  But can you wear an off-the-shoulder dress or top in an office setting?  Well, it depends. My whole ethos in life when it comes to the work setting are never sh*t where you eat and wear whatever you want as long as it makes you feel good and not getting fired.

However, if you really want to try the off-the-shoulder look at the office, my advice is to tone down everything and keep them looking sleek and tailored.  Always have a chic blazer to throw over your shoulders just in case.

Remember, if you work in an environment where men are still wearing suits then you may not want to show up with your shoulders bare.  I would save that for the weekend out with the girls or your significant other.
