The scent of fresh pine, golden leaves piling softly from bare trees, Autumn has definitely returned, especially the past couple weeks here in LA. The heat has finally left us after making a pressing announcement with thunderstorms and showers for a couple of days.
Each year I look forward to Autumn, my happiest season. Maybe I’m being biased because my birthday falls in October, but I have been dreaming of brisk winds, chilled, but not freezing weather, cozy nights by the fire, and eating pumpkin everything. But most of all I look forward to wearing fall clothing. There are so many fun fall occasions to dress for and you can’t go wrong with the boots+jeans+sweater+coat ensemble.
I’ve been talking about what dresses and other items you need to get ready for fall. Now here’s my short list of some fall items that you need to consider adding to your wardrobe.
A rich Italian wool coat in a beautiful pink color is the style that you can reach for again and again during the fall and winter seasons. In my opinion, this is the coat that you will likely wear it the most often and for the longest amount of time because of the classic cut and style.
