Have you always wanted to wear the color green but not sure how? I’ve got you covered!
For a long time, I felt that way. Green is a color of nature and whenever I see this color trees and plants come to my mind. I have always thought this color would make my olive skin more sallow. But over the years I have learned that the color of green comes in many different shades and if worn right it can compliment any complexions. Great news, if you are a redhead with porcelain complexion this color would look stunning on you.
Here’s how I rock this color year round…
STRUT IN RAINBOW COLORS
No, not all at once! The color green goes really well with red, yellow, blue, orange and brown. So don’t be shy and go ahead play with all these colors.
GO DRAMATIC WITH JEWELED HUES
If you want to have fun with this color why not match it with a jeweled hue like purple as I did here in these pics. I paired my green dress with purple suede pumps to energize the look without going too bold.
STAY SAFE WITH NEUTRALS
Neutrals pretty much go with any colors and green is one of the best matching colors to pair with. For an understated look, you can dress up in a single green color dress and pair it with a pair of nude pumps and nude handbag.
ACCESSORIZE
If green is not your thing but wants to have fun I would suggest going monochrome all in black or white to accentuate your individuality.
I hope you are enjoying this What To Wear With series as much as I have. Here, I have rounded up some beautiful items in this color that you can mix and match with, all under $83!

You are so right about the color green, Janise. I also have yellowish tones to my skin, but I have found that deeper greens, especially those with bluish undertones, can work with my skin color. And I love the unexpected pairing of your purple pumps. I never would have thought to do that, but they really add to your look. The dress is fabulous on you–can’t believe it’s only $17!
Thank you, Elise! This dress is a steal and I can pretty much wear it to work and other venues.
