As mentioned on this post I was in the planning stage of looking for a contractor to execute a few home renovation projects. I have interviewed a few contractors since then and received a few quotes. I have yet to decide which one to use because there is still 1 pending estimate from a highly recommended contractor. While waiting, I went shopping for materials to get a feel of what my budget can offer me. Yesterday, our family went on a hardcore warehouse excursion looking for materials that would suit our needs, functions and style. It looks like I will have to tweak a few options to stay within my budget.
For the next few months I will be diving into remodeling and decor projects throughout our home, and I can’t wait to see what unfolds. I hope you will join me along this new journey. Until then, I have started shopping for our living room and dining room furniture. The above decor inspiration living rooms prompted me to stalk this site on a daily basis for furniture flash sales. I also started visiting other stores in hopes of floor/sample sales. Coincidentally, there was a furniture sale promotion last week and given the prices I pounced on these two amazing accent chairs to get the ball rolling! Houzz is so addictive! I finally had to delete the app so that I could stop obsessing over furniture and decor. But I am always on the lookout for great pieces to add to our house.
