Happy Monday everyone! Hope your weekend was treating you well. Mine was a bit somber and quiet. I attended a relative’s funeral service and while doing so my sisters and I almost burned down the cemetery. We stopped by our grandparents’ graveyards, which were a few blocks down and decided to burn some incense to pay our respect. The winds did not help with the process. Needless to say, one of my sisters’ thumb received borderline second-degree burns. But on a lighter note…
I hope you have been enjoying my spring capsule collection series. I’m learning so much as I continue to share how a few items can be remixed in so many outfits. This is my 7th week and I’m sharing how a pair of nude sandals can be a remix power play. When I first saw these sandals I wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest in them, after all I can get a few pair of shoes with that price. The comfort and the versatility convinced me otherwise. I have been wearing them non-stop for the past few weeks thanks to the beautiful west coast weather.
This week I’m pairing these sandals with this dress gifted from a fellow blogger, Rhea, whom I had the pleasure of meeting in person a couple weeks ago. She’s launching a new boutique within her blog specializing in affordable skirts & dresses! I would love to add this, this and this to my spring capsule collection!!! Being an entrepreneur myself, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping other people succeed, especially if those people happen to be your friends, family, colleagues or fellow bloggers. I’m really really excited to be part of Rhea’s launch campaign. Here’s a little bit about Rhea and why she started this e-boutique…
Rhea Et Cetera started out to be a personal fashion blog in January 2013 written by Rhea, a Los Angeles blogger and the site’s namesake. Through blogging, she discovered her personal style and realized that her true passion is on skirts and dresses. She searched for online stores specializing in such, and while there are numerous online boutiques for women’s fashion. what is not too common is an online boutique specializing in skirts and dresses. She knew that a one-stop shop for skirt and dress shopping plus styling inspiration would be of service to women everywhere. With that, the story of Rhea Et Cetera, The Skirt & Dress Blog & Boutique begins. Based in Los Angeles, California in the heart of the LA Fashion District, Rhea Et Cetera has direct access to quality and latest skirts and dresses.
In celebrating this launch, Rhea is giving away $100 store credit for you to shop her fabulous boutique. Please scroll down to enter for a chance to win! Good luck!!!

I love your look Janise, its so feminine and flowy. And, the sleeves are so great. I just think that there is nothing better in the spring than wearing florals. I am looking forward to perusing Rhea’s new shop. Thank you for linking up with SHOE AND TELL on Style Nudge!

Sorry to hear about the loss of a family member and glad you didn’t burn anything down. Incense and wind do not mix. I love this dress on you – the sleeves are so fun and the dress is perfect for spring.
