The weather in LA has actually cooled down a bit at night for me to wear faux fur again, this time it’s my old faux fur vest. This vest has been in heavy rotation for several seasons now. It has successfully served as my go-to layering staple. I have worn it under a coat and a green army parka, over a silk blouse and a black leather moto jacket, and even over a cocktail dress. I love the versatility of this vest and how the plush white fur brights up anything drabby, not to mention it also adds a luxe touch.
This fall I’m working it again with over the knee boots and a shift dress. I can’t wait to work this vest into winter by wearing it under a pea coat and over a turtleneck sweater. It’s safe to say that this faux fur vest will serve as my cold-weather layering staple every season because it adds warmth without heft!
