I’m not big in giving skincare products as gifts because I think it’s a personal choice. However, when I know a product is good for you I will buy them in bulk and give them out as gifts. Recently, I packaged a baby gift basket for a friend of mine. I filled the gift box with AVEENO® Baby Eczema Therapy Nighttime Balm, AVEENO® Eczema Therapy Itch Relief Balm, a couple baby onesies, a plush baby blanket, and a dream chaser.
Being a mom myself, I felt that these products would prepare her for motherhood. One of my twins had eczema on his scalp and that didn’t go away until he was 9 months old. I wish I had these products then. What I love about Aveeno is that their products are so gentle you can use it on any skin type.
We use these products at home as well. Here’s my take on them:

My Take: Luckily, my twins do not have eczema now but one of them gets the dry patchy skin on his arms. I used this on him and it cleared up within a couple days. Given that this product is free of paraben, steroids, and fragrance, it’s a great product to use for toddlers and babies.

My Take: I don’t have eczema but I do use this every other day after bath/shower. It is light and non-greasy. My skin feels soft and supple after the first few applications. Hubby, though, absolutely loves this (well almost all the Aveeno products) because his skin is more sensitive than mine. He has mild eczema with patches of itchy skin. This product helps to relieve the itch and flare ups within days. At the same time, it provides a nice supple sheen to his skin, which I love.
