I can’t believe Christmas is 20 days away. I guess time flies when you are enjoying your everyday moments.
I’m sure you are aware by now that velvet is everywhere. I love velvet because they are rich, exotic and decadent. I find this texture the most difficult to capture on camera. This is one of the few fabrics that actually looks way much better in person than in pictures.
Most recently, I decided to get a pair of velvet pumps. I came across a similar pair in a magazine that I really liked but the price was out of this world. Seriously, $875 for a pair of velvet fabric pumps? No, thank you.
When I saw a similar pair here for an affordable price I knew they would be perfect to have a little fun with. I’ve been mixing them with flare cropped denim, pleated skirts, skinny denim, and most recently, faux fur. And they will be perfect to mix with a nice tuxedo suit pant for a Work Christmas Party, which is days away.
