Today is a happy day indeed – it is Friday with a giveaway!!!

As you all are aware, outside of fashion, I love jewelry and accessories because they can elevate any outfits.  I’m super excited today because I have teamed up with some fabulous ladies from Fashion Flash and I’m part of the #peaceandlovejewelry Invicta Watch and Silvertone Bracelet giveaways.  Allison from Never Say Die Beauty already kicked off this giveaway series.  Don’t forget to hop over there to increase your chances of winning!

For my giveaway, I’m giving away this beautiful Invicta Lupah watch with seven changeable watch bands in these beautiful colors from pink to orange (so Hermes!) as well as these silvertone slide bracelets from the #peaceandlovejewelry collection designed by Nancy Davis.

You may have heard of Nancy if you are familiar with the Race to Erase MS foundaton.  If not, I’m going to tell you a little bit about her.  Nancy is a philanthropist who started the Race to Erase MS foundation, which funds Centers Without Walls to help find cures for Multiple Sclerosis.  When Nancy was first diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 33 in 1991 and was told by her doctors that she would be “lucky” if she could operate a remote control on her TV, she was determined not to let this disease stop her from living her life.  So Nancy devoted her time, relationships and resources to finding a cure.  

In 1993 Nancy founded Race to Erase MS – an organization whose primary focus is to raise funds for the most cutting-edge, aggressive and promising research in an effort to find a cure for MS.  Since then Race to Erase MS has raised over $36 million in contributions. They have funded MS research grants and programs over $24 million. Their core focus is to assist in the treatment and ultimate cure of MS.

According to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, it estimates that more than 400,000 people in the United States and about 2.5 million people around the world have MS.  The startling statistics is that about 200 new cases are diagnosed each week.

In addition for being a philanthropist, Nancy is also a jewelry and clothing designer.  She designed the #peaceandlovejewelry collection to further help her cause.  The Invicta watch with seven changeable waist bands and silvertone bracelets are part of this collection that Nancy is generously giving away to two lucky winners.  One person will win the Invicta Lupah watch and one will win two slide bracelets.

So let’s talk about these silvertone slide bracelets.  Aren’t they stunning?!  They are set with little white topaz stones.  I think the slide is a genious concept because for women like me with tiny wrists I don’t have to worry about the bracelet sliding off or taking it to the jeweler to have it shortened.
