floral printsSpring is in full bloom and so are floral prints in dresses.  We tend to shay away from floral prints because they can be quite intimidating to wear, especially for women over 40 like me.  Well, this has not stopped me from wearing this classic print that is available all four seasons in all sorts of colors.

I have a few ways to flaunt these florals with elegance.

SIMPLICITY

One of the best ways to incorporate the floral prints is to start small and simple.  Think small florals on a printed skirt or blouse. Or even head to toe. Just keep everything else simple.

COLOR MATCHING

I love to match a color to one of those contained in the flower print to tie the look together.  Like the pictures here I matched the black floral from the dress with a black purse and shoes.  I wore this floral dress for brunch over the weekend and received so many compliments.

NEUTRAL

You can never go wrong when matching the floral prints (or any prints for that matter) with neutral.  The neutral color can tone down the look for that elegant vibe.

Regardless of your age, you can pull off the floral prints with east and are guaranteed to turn heads!
