Cardigans are my fall must have – it’s one of those items that every woman should have in her closet. As we all know cardigans come in all shapes and sizes, colors, and print and they are not created equally. I personally prefer the long cardigan style, especially when I travel because they can also act as a cozy blanket on the plane. Given my petite size, I style the cardigans according to my petite frame without making me looking stumpy, wide, and everything all rolled up into one.

CROPPED CARDIGAN
It looks the trends are pointing at the cropped cardigans, a classic style. I own a couple of these and they look so good with high waist trousers/jeans/skirts and even flare style dresses. I would never pair it with a long top because the contrast in lengths is not flattering.
BOYFRIEND CARDIGAN
My personal favorite! This style is longer and slouch but very comfortable and super versatile. You can wear them with just about anything this holiday season and still look your best.
WRAP LAPEL CARDIGAN
This style is the same as the oversized cardigan but less bulky and more fitted. The best way to style this is to wear it with dark jeans or pants to elongate your silhouette, which will create a nice long line up and down your figure. Make sure to avoid short skirts because the lapels can create weird proportions.
DUSTER CARDIGAN
I love oversized long cardigans because they look and feel cozy. This style is a bit tricky to style because if not done right it can create bulkiness. The best way to style this is to pair it with leggings or skinny jeans. You will always find me in a duster cardigan on the plane because it acts as a cozy blanket as well.
