Pink Papaya is a US company that offers natural home spa and beauty products that are made in the USA utilizing the finest ingredients available with no animal testing. Their products are sold exclusively through a network of Independent Consultants.  I have never heard of this company until I was contacted by Edie McRae from Edie’s Pink Papaya.  I was sent the Green tea & Kukui Anti-Aging Shampoo, Green Tea & Kukui Anti-Aging Conditioner, and Sea and Sun Finishing Serum.  Here’s my take after using their products for the past few weeks.

The claim:

Green Tea & Kukui Anti-Aging shampoo improves the overall hair health. Infused with a blend of amino acids and orange blossom, apple, green tea, lemon, sage and thyme extracts.  Green Tea & Kukui Antin-Aging conditioner improves texture, shine, manageability and radiance. Infused with a blend of amino acids, hydrating kukui nut, argan and red raspberry oil, and orange blossom, apple, green tea, lemon, sage and thyme extracts.  Sea and Sun Finishing Serum adds beatiful luster and exceptional shine to dry fly-away hair.  The unique formula helps to seal split ends and produces a beautiful, silky look.

Expert opinion:

Kukui nut oil is scientifically proven to have a small enough molecule to penetrate into the hair so you see a difference. It strengthens the hair and gives it a lot of shine and elasticity.

Mama’s take:

I love the apple, green tea, lemon, and sage aroma of the shampoo and conditioner. It sets me in the spa mode each I use them.  My hair tends to feel greasy in a day after shampooing.  However, after using these products I noticed the greasiness was not present until a couple more days later.  I love putting the serum on after shampooing my hair or even before styling my hair.  It is not greasy.  I don’t have split ends to begin with so I can’t comment about the unique formula that the serum has to seal split ends.  Now you have  a chance to win this amazing full hair care set from Edie McRae (she’s super nice!)!
