During my first 6 months into motherhood, I pushed most of my things to the back of the closet, mostly my shoes…high heeled shoes! I then realized that…wait a minute there’s no need to let Louboutins and Choos stay in the closet forever collecting dust! Just because I became a mom does not mean I couldn’t wear them. I’ve slowly learned how to be creative and found ways to showcase them at certain venues. We make an effort to go out for family breakfast, lunch, or dinner at least once a week. I wore my 4 inch platform and carrying one of my 20 lb. sons to dinner once. It is so important to keep your relationships with your girlfriends whether you have kids or not. I’m so far away from my girlfriends that every time we have a chance to get together we make an effort to go out. I love a night out with my girlfriends. This is a chance for me to connect with them as well as wearing my shoes (and clothes!) that I used to wear before having the kids.
