Happy Tuesday everyone!
Each Tuesday I co-host the Beauty Buzz Link Up with the fabulous Nicole from Mom Trends, Lulu from Simply Lulu Style and Alison from Sassy Moms in the City. This week I’m hosting and sharing my tips on how to get tousled hair. So come and join us and share your beauty posts by linking up below.
Perfect hair is so passé! The current trend right now is all about texture that’s wavy, loose and undone. Over the years I have learned that a carefree loose wavy hair is more sexy and even chic than big pageant curls. Here’s how I normally prep my stubborn straight hair to get that tousled look in 5 steps:
1. Shampoo and blow-dry your hair until it is 75% dry.
2. Don’t comb your hair but prep with a good product instead. I use a texture-enhancing spray on my damp strands. My current favorite is Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.
3. Let your hair air-dry. I use this down time to put on my makeup and getting dressed.
4. Curl your hair with a large curling iron.
5. Finish with the sea salt texturizing spray for extra volume and texture.
This month we are giving away 3 sets of Christine Duo (shampoo/conditioner) from Van Thomas Concepts to 3 lucky winners! Enter through the Rafflecopter below. Entry ends 3/31 so the more entries you complete, the better chance you have at winning this awesome prize!

I’ve been wanting to try a Sea Salt Spray. Wonder if it works on all hair types? Your hair always looks beautiful!
I have super straight hair. This particular brand is the cheapest ($5.99) so it might worth a try to see if this works for your hair type.
thanks for the easy tutorial! perfect for Spring-when I work that look I like to add a bit of bronzer to top off the beachy sexy vibe!
I love the way tousled hair looks. It’s my favorite way to style my hair. Thanks for the linky!

So pretty! Love the pink lips too!
Thank you Kristin!
Hi Janise! I love tousled bedhead-y low maintenance hair……there’s something so sexy & alluring about it. Take it from one bedhead….My best tip is not to wash hair everyday to get the best results!
