Happy Monday everyone!  Hope you had a nice weekend.

Date night is the time to rediscover each other and let the rest of the world go on without you.  Hubby and I began our marriage with plans for a weekly date night.  We were successful until our 2 little bundles of joy arrived.  Weekly became monthly and then date night was missed altogether and our romantic nights out went out the door.  With our busy schedules we often look for opportunity to go on date night whenever our nannies (aka our parents and siblings) are in town, or whenever we visit them.

We just finished a few big life changing projects and immediately working on some new ventures.  We have not had the time to reflect and celebrate.  Hubby decided to be spontaneous and took me to this crepe restaurant.

I chose this lace flower dress because I wanted a romantic, feminine, flirty dress for the occasion.  I paired it with a tuxedo blazer and finished the look with chains and pearls, Miu Miu pumps, and my favorite bag, Chanel.

The night was magical and romantic.  It felt like we were on our first date again 🙂  We both agreed that we need to do this more often.

P.S. I had the buckwheat crepe with shrimp and salad.  The food was a 7 (their saving grace was the buckwheat crepe), espresso was a 6, and the service was an 8 but my date was a 10+!

Thank you so much, Ada. You did a fantastic job in featuring these looks. You got a new follower 🙂

  2. Date nights are so important. My hubby and I let our 4 year old spend the night at his grandparents this weekend (we still had our 17 month at home) and we were able to TALK. I just couldn’t believe how much conversation we were able to have without my little chatter box with us. I love your dress by the way. So pretty!

  3. We too, say WAY too often, “we need to do this more!” but somehow the fact that that money could be spent on diapers, or food, or something else AND that our mutual laziness has us usually ending up on the couch watching a movie! I like to think that MY dinners are four-star meals anyway, lol!

  4. Oh, I love date nights! Me and the Hubby need to get out and find new places more often! Crepes sound delish and your dress is incredible! Perfect romantic piece for a great date 🙂
