One of my constant obsessions is my teeth.  Teeth hygiene makes or breaks a good first impression with me.  If eyes are the window to the soul then healthy teeth is a window to your overall health.  I floss and brush my teeth at least twice a day.  And twice a year I visit my Dentist.  When it comes to teeth whitening I personally feel that whiter teeth in a smile represent confidence.  But I will not sacrifice my love for coffee, red wine, and green tea and NO I will not drink it from a straw.  Holding a mug of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine during dinner is part of the overall experience that I enjoy.

However, I do take steps for whiter teeth by using the White Strips from Crest and sometimes adding baking soda to my toothpaste.  I want natural white teeth not neon plastic looking white teeth.  The drawback is that it is an ongoing effort in order to maintain white teeth.  Just recently, I was introduced to SmileBrilliant to review their affordable LED Teeth Whitening product.

Mama’s Take:

The LED Teeth Whitening package contains a pen, a LED light and gel trays.  I was a bit cautious when I first saw the gel trays because I have tried a similar product in the past and the product burnt my gums and made my teeth very sensitive.  It took a few days to recover.  But that was not the case with this product.  It was very easy to use.  I painted my teeth with the Teeth Whitening Gel pen, covered my upper and lower teeth with the trays, fired the LED light for 25 minutes and voila my teeth were a couple shades lighter.  See the “before” and “after” photos below…the photos were not touched up .  That was after 1 application.  The best part was it didn’t burn my gums or make my teeth sensitive .  For $39.95 it is affordable and effective with instant results.
