 I’ve been looking for that perfect black structured bag for quite some time now.  That bag has to be elegant, classic, versatile, high quality made and most of all, functional.  I wanted a timeless quality bag that can complete any style from sheath dresses to casual jeans and t-shirt ensembles.  More importantly, I wanted a bag made in Italy.  Why do I want a bag made in Italy?  To me they signify the best in quality and luxury!!!  Ferrari. Fashion. Shoes. Bags. Harrumph…even men (that’s subjective…I married one 🙂 ).  Italian made products exude a sense of innate elegance and sophistication because of their craftsmanship, handed down from generation to generation.

When I saw the Rossana bag from Maxwell Scott I knew I found “the bag”.  Maxwell Scott is a British company specialising in luxury Italian leather goods.  Their leather is made from 100% Italian hides, produced in the heart of Tuscany in one of the very best, most renowned tanneries to have ever existed.  The premium full grade Italian hides are known within the industry as being some of the best in the world.  I’ve been carrying the Rossana bag nonstop for the past couple weeks.  It is soft, smooth, silky and sturdy.  There is no other way to describe its beauty and gentleness.  Whether I turn 50, 60, 70, or 80 (if I’m lucky to live that long) I can still carry this bag and it will still look chic and stylish.  This bag is not just a timeless elegant bag it is a collector’s item.

    Italian made leather items are indeed at a premium because of their quality and craftsmanship. If you take care of them well enough, our children can still use them.
