I’m excited to share a new series with you called “Date Night Style”, which will replace the Remix & Restyle series. While collaborating on an article about reigniting romance (will feature this post next week) it sparked my ideas about starting this new series. Date night is a must to keep the spark roaring in a relationship whether you’ve been together 3 days or 30 years.
With this new series I will introduce something new with my old things in the closet (or just about anything that is womanly and sexy for a date) and show how old things can be remixed and restyled in a new light. How satisfying that would be to see your outfit in multiple permutations without spending a dime. It is similar to the Remix & Restyle concept. You will see a lot of repeat offenders here but not the same item every single week for the entire month.
I hope you like the first look I have chosen for this series. The Diane von Furstenber dress was purchased back in May from RueLaLa discounted at 75% off, which I sent the sale alert out here & here. I paired this dress with my old DIY leather bag and laced up sandals. This dress is super comfortable and there’s plenty room in the hip area for food, wine and dessert. I recently wore this look for a date night with hubby. I had sushi, sake, decaf coffee and cake…and the dress still had room for more! I hope you are as excited as I am about this new series!!!
