I’ve been meaning to write up this review for a while now. Today, I’d like to share my take on my latest makeup discovery, Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Fiery. This lipstick is not your usual lipstick. Read on to find out why.
The Goods:
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick
The Claim:
A creamy-matte, full-coverage lip color that delivers bold, long-lasting color and will not bleed or transfer for up to 6 hours of continuous wear.
Mama’s Take:
I was uber excited when I read what this lipstick can do “stay all day lipstick that does not bleed or transfer up to 6 hrs!” Really? Is this too good to be true? So I bought one from Sephora and put it to the test. It goes on like lip gloss and dries very fast to a matte finish. So make sure you have steady hands! The staying power was pretty good and it didn’t have any weird fading/clumping/peeling!
I’ve been wearing this lipstick non-stop for the past couple weeks for over 10 hours almost everyday. This is THE ONLY lipstick that truly lasts all day! Although this liquid lipstick is enriched with Vitamin E and avocado oil to hydrate and soften your lips, it can still dry up your lips due to the matte coverage. Make sure your lips are super moist and hydrated before applying this liquid lipstick. You can also get around the dryness by applying a lip balm over it which will give that moist plump look on your lips.
One of the most annoying things about deep color lipstick (red!) is that it tends to get on your teeth after the application. This lipstick is MAGIC! It does not do that at all. In fact, after applying the lipstick for over 6 hours + I only had to re-apply a very small part of my lips once. VERY IMPRESSIVE! I now want to buy every color from this collection! Well done Stila!!!
