Remember the ERASA XEP30 launch I shared a little over a month ago?  Since publishing that post I received a bottle for review even though I was ready to buy it on their website.  It’s been over a few weeks since I started using this cream.  Here’s my take on why it exceeded my expectations.

The Goods:

ERASA XEP30 ($160)

erasa-1-2

The Claims:

ERASA XEP30 is clinically proven to help erase all visible signs of aging – deep frown lines, expression lines, and crow’s feet – generating results previously only possible via injection.  Your skin will appear firmer, age spots and dark circles will begin to disappear, and skin tone will brighten and become more uniform.  With each use, you’ll correct and repair the age driven loss of elasticity and increasing dullness of skin tone while diminishing the appearance of age spots, uneven skin color, and dark under-eye circles. Your skin will appear more luminous, rejuvenated, and younger.

Mama’s Take:

You guys know how obsessed I am with the wrinkles on my forehead.  You can read my reviews here how this product helped reduce some of the wrinkles but not as much as I had hoped.  For the past few weeks I’ve been using ERASA XEP30, and still continue to use it to this day.  When I first received the bottle I was really excited and happy.  For the first 5 days I checked my forehead obsessively.  Nothing happened.  A couple days later, still nothing happened.  Ok, have they been bs’ng me???

Then on day 8 I almost fell off of my chair!  It was unbelievable! I had to snap a photo to prove it.  I sent that photo to my sisters immediately and they couldn’t believe it either.   But when they saw my face in person they were convinced.

This cream exceeded my expectation in 10 fold.  My wrinkles diminished significantly not in 14 days but in 8 days!  The most unexpected of all was how much my skin texture had improved.  I had more age spots before but now I barely notice them.  Well, let’s let these photos do the talking for me!

Remember these before and after photos?  This was back in February!

Retinol before and after

Since using ERASA here’s how my forehead looked since Day 1 of using this cream to present.  These pictures were taken with my smartphone without any filters or light adjustment.

before and after ERASA XEP 30

Yesterday (no makeup, no photoshopping, and no light adjusting).  Oh, I had only 4 hours of sleep the night before.

This is a face of a 45 year old woman on ERASA XEP30, a self proclaimed ERASA addict!

This is how I have been using ERASA XEP30 for my morning and night routines:

Morning:  Cleanse my face.  Using 2 pumps of ERASA cream I apply them on my forehead, under my eyes, and my laugh lines.  The left over cream is applied on the rest of my face.  I slather on SPF 30 moisturizer, then the Instant Line Corrector from Roc Skincare.

Night:  First, I follow this beauty routine.  Then, using 2 pumps of ERASA cream I apply them on my forehead, under my eyes, and my laugh lines.  The left over cream is applied on the rest of my face, followed by multi Correxion 5 in 1 Restoring Night Cream from Roc Skincare.

I have extremely sensitive skin but none of these products irritated my skin at all.  I don’t know how long this bottle will last me, maybe a couple more months?  I can’t really see the cream level so I can’t comment.

But what I do know is that ERASA is my new obsession and their website is bookmarked for re-stocking because finally I found a cream that can actually get rid of at least 50% of wrinkles on my face.  Who doesn’t want to look young and vibrant for $160 without needles or going under the knife!?

Disclosure:  Although I was given products to review from ERASA Skincare, all opinions are my own

  1. I feel like I am putting elmers glue on my face. And when applying a moisturizer over the cream its very “sludge” like. I don’t feel it absorbs well. And I am not putting on too much, just two pumps as directed. Not crazy about the smell either. I will continue to use the product and hope it lives up to its promise.

Thank you for stopping by, Susan. I usually let ERASA sit for 5 minutes then apply an SPF moisturizer (morning)/cream(night) over it. I have extremely sensitive skin and my skin absorbs this cream quite well.

  2. I’ve been using this product for almost 4 weeks now and I see an improvement in the tone of my skin. Not seeing any improvement on the lines. Maybe I’m not using the right products with it? Based on your review I bought the Roc 5 & 1 night cream today so we shall see. The reviews on this product have been great so not ready to give up.

Thank you for sharing this, Denise. I’m on my 3rd bottle. For me, my lines are not completely gone but they are not as pronounced as before. I also exfoliate 2-3 times a week, at home dermabrasion once a week, and apply the snail masks 3-4 times a week. In addition to the RoC products I use I also apply a layer of vitamin C before Erasa 30 minutes later, then the SPF moisturizer from RoC [daytime]. I know…I put a lot of stuff on my face. Here’s a post that I wrote about my beauty routine, http://www.mamainheels.com/2015/06/24/beauty-guide-for-looking-your-best-at-all-times/. Thanks!

  3. I purchased Erasa XEP 30 after I read Allure’s article and your review. I assumed you were an honest customer providing your own unbiased opinions. I purchased this bottle for my mother and figured that if it worked well for her (as you claim it has been working for you), then I would purchase a bottle for myself. My mother had the bottle for less than 4 weeks before the lid cracked to pieces, the pump stopped working, and the product ran out. I couldn’t figure out why her 1.7 fl oz bottle lasted less than 4 weeks, while my other brand 1.7 fl oz bottle has been lasting me for months! When we opened her bottle, we discovered that the product is only in the top 3cm of the bottle when we put a toothpick into it and saw that half of the toothpick still poked out from the top! The product probably is less than 3 cm deep since the pump takes up some space at the top, which leaves the remaining 10 cm of the bottle empty! We were horrified when we realized that I spent $160 on a product that says it is 1.7 fl oz, but may only be 15-20% of actual product and the rest is marketing fraud. If I could figure out how to post pictures of this atrocity, I would so everyone in the world can see the deception that Erasa Skincare engages in.

Thank you for sharing this, Anne. I would contact ERASA Skincare and tell them exactly what had happened. They will be more than happy to refund you. The bottle lasts 2-3 months for me just like other cream, and yes it’s quite steep but so far I’m happy with the results.

This is the first time I am making a public comment. As the Author (Ann 12/2016) described, the bottle lists 1.7 fl.oz. I purchased this product and paid $160,–. My doubts regarding the claimed quantity of product motivated me to get this container opened. It was a challenge and the result was beyond belief. The container is 5 inches tall, whereas the inserted product container is less than ONE INCH tall and its’ diameter is small. One needs an eyedropper to fill this minuscule space containing the lotion. I am not making comments regarding the efficacy of this product.
What is most offending, is the misleading indication of 1.7 fl. oz, which means “1.7 fluid ounces” not air. Now, I question the truthfulness of any claims this company makes, regardless of the potential merits of this product. Honesty, integrity and trust should be seal of any individual and company.

  4. I also felt like erasa felt too unblendable, like no slip. And whatever I put on top didn’t blend well, make up looked cakey. For me it didn’t work, if they change the formula to be more like a serum and they remove the fragrance and any other potentially “red number whatever” is in there. One of the last ingredients. Take all the potentially irritating stuff out. I would try it again. Hopefully they listen!

  5. I have been using Erasa XEP for almost 3 weeks now. I am having small positive changes in tone and comfort of my skin. I suffer from Rosacea and aging skin. I only use once a day because I am trying to stretch out the product. Probably could see a greater benefit if I used the recommended 2’xs a day.

I haven’t had any problem applying the product because of other peoples reviews, I decided to apply the product on damp skin. The instructions on their website tells users to meld the product on fingertips first. This method combined with apply to damp skin has worked out great for me. I wait before putting anything else on top for at least 10 minutes. I have applied sunscreen, moisturizer, and mineral makeup, liquid foundations – on different occasions and have not encountered any problem whatsoever. I noticed that this cream does double time as a primer and can even be used alone on bare skin to give a blurring effect. I am pretty happy with this product, and that’s saying alot because I often give up on products within a week because of irritation. I am sticking with this for now because my skin feels better.

Can I put on serums and gels before putting on Erasa? It says to put it on dry skin so I have been putting on my other moisturizers and gels beforehand. I do see a difference when I put it on but am wondering if I am decreasing its effects but putting on other products first. Any advice?

      Hi Larissa,

Thank you for stopping by. I’m no skincare experts, but what I have been doing with my skincare regimen is to apply the serum before ERASA. ERASA’s cream texture is quite thick so I always apply that last. I hope this helps.

  7. I stumbled across your blog while doing research about Erasa. I’m about to turn 40 this October and realized I need to step up my beauty routine as I’m starting to see wrinkles and sun spots. I started using Erasa 3 days ago and already see a softening of my “11” lines. I hope to see more improvement in the next few weeks. Will also start doing face masks weekly:)

Your post on Erasa and your blog in general is so helpful and informative! Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks. You look amazing! I only hope to enter my 40s looking as fabulous as you! I’m wondering if you have any skin advice you would offer to your 39-year-old self, what would it be? Like what you wish you started sooner, etc. Thanks again!

      Hi Genevieve,

I love hearing stories like yours where you are seeing improvements. Everyone’s skin is different. And thank you for the compliments. If I were to give my 39-year-old self advice it would have to be adding Retina into my skincare routine. I just started doing this (it’s never too late 🙂 ) and I’m already seeing improvements in the texture of my skin.

      xo,
      Janise
