Have you all seen this short video showing instant face lifting mask results from Cledbel 24k Gold Ultra Power Lifting Mask on Instagram or Youtube?  I have!  So much so that I decided to give it a try since I love trying new products, especially when it is skincare related.  By the way, this is not a sponsored review.

I was a bit skeptical when I first saw the Cledbel video but was very intrigued.  When the package arrived I was more than anxious to try because my aging face could use some dramatic lifting without going under the knife.  Mind you I accept the fate of my skin because I am aging every day. However, I’m willing to try products that are good for my skin, and if it can improve the elasticity and minimize wrinkles dramatically I’m all for it.

THE CLAIM

A peel-off mask for an instant facelift! It smoothes skin texture and brightens skin tone with just ONE use.

MAMA’S TAKE

First of all, the tube’s directions are not written in English, but rather in Korean.  I don’t speak nor read Korean so that was a challenge. Thanks to the Cledbel’s video on Youtube and Instagram I was able to follow the visual directions provided by the brand.

The cream is definitely in gold…whether it’s 24k or not I have no idea.  The texture is creamy and sticky and the smell is quite strong like alcohol but really potent.  Per the video’s instructions I need to apply this cream on a cleansed face and leave it ‘till it is completely dry (approximately 10 mins) and peel off after.

The first time that I tested this I was almost in tears because it was hurting my skin. And I didn’t see any instant results from that. I tried it again a couple days later but this time the application of the cream is a lot thicker so that the cream is thick enough for an easy peel without hurting my skin.  That worked! But I still didn’t see any results, not immediately, not 10 minutes later, not a day later, or a week later.  Rather, my skin became dryer than usual.  Luckily this mask didn’t cause any irritations or rashes on my sensitive skin.

I have reviewed many products sponsored or not sponsored I do provide my opinions based on my experience using the products.  Will I use this face lifting mask product again?  Most like not because of the alcohol ingredient.  Any skincare product that includes alcohol is just bad for your skin, period.

Note: The above photo is taken immediately after peeling off the mask so some residue is still present.  If you look closely you can see how my skin looks dry instead of lifted and plump.
