Welcome to another installment of A Month of Tiny Delights.  This October I invite you to pause and revel in life’s little blissful moments that can turn a whole day around since it can be hard to slow down at a time in life where everything moves so quickly. 

So for this month why not…

REDECORATING

Once in awhile I pick a room and redecorate because the process is very relaxing yet thrilling.  I’ll change move the furniture around or add some decor items to give it a new life.  

CLEARING YOUR MIND

Clearing negative and unwanted thoughts is healthy for your mind and spirit.  I try to do this once a month but I would highly recommend doing this at least once a week.

UNPLUGGING

Unplugging from technology helps to reduce stress and feel more creative.  I try to unplug from social media once or twice a week to reset my mind, body, and spirit.

HAVE A MOMENT ALONE

We are so busy working and taking care of our family that we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves.  The best way for me to do this is to have a quiet moment alone from all the distractions.

DOING WHAT YOU LOVE

Doing what you love improves mental health by providing a sense of meaning and purpose.  I love my job but I also love to blog and share parts of me with my readers to hopefully inspire them to live a healthy life.  

GOING OUT FOR BREAKFAST

I love going out for breakfast with my family or friends, especially on the weekends.  It’s great to spend time with family and loved ones and doing that over a meal is the best way,

REDISCOVERING THE CLASSICS

This month why not immerse yourself in classic books like Pride and Prejudice, Hamlet, Moby Dick just to name a few.

HAVE DINNER WITH A FRIEND

I love meeting up with my friends for dinner.  I’m actually meeting up with one of my friends this Saturday to catch up on our lives, trips, and events.

TAKING YOUR TIME TO PREPARE SOMETHING

We live in such a fast-paced environment that we no longer take any pleasure of spending our time to prepare something.  This month why not change that paradigm and start taking our time to prepare anything – big or small.

MAKING TIME FOR TEA

For the past few years, I have been making time for tea every day after lunch.  This is an indulgence for me and I look forward to it every single day.
