I hope you have been enjoying my pilot video and that you have subscribed to my YouTube channel. I put so many hours into making this 30-second video just to introduce myself. I’m not very comfortable in front of a video camera – I get nervous and feel tense each and every time but going through this process has helped me learn so much about myself. I feel more confident each time I shoot a video.
Previously, I had laid out my earning plans along with the daily progress that I needed to make in order to bring the video content to fruition. Today, I’m going to share with you what I have purchased with my Chase Freedom Unlimited cash back credit card to make all this possible.
TRAVEL
One of the best ways to get inspiration is to travel. I used this card to purchase travel necessities for my recent Argentina trip as well as my upcoming trip to France. While we were in Argentina, we experienced a blackout at the apartment we stayed at, and luckily, we were able to book a very last-minute hotel a few blocks away with our Chase Freedom Unlimited card. It was a lifesaver!
EQUIPMENT
As I shared previously, my home studio setup needed some tweaking to make it videotaping friendly. Thanks to my cash back credit card I have been able to re-paint the walls so that I can use them as a backdrop. I was also able to purchase lighting, a video microphone, and a tripod to support the videotaping process. On top of that, I had to make a last-minute purchase, an external hard drive, because my laptop ran out of space to import media for editing.
EVERYDAY PURCHASES
I’ve been using the Chase Freedom Unlimited card for everything from purchasing groceries and filling up my gas tanks to paying my mobile and utility bills.
As of August, I had earned 24,000 points. The rewards never expire as long as my account is open. I had a choice to redeem them for travel, gift cards, Amazon purchases, or just cash back. I chose the cash back option to treat my family to a nice dinner out to thank them for their incredible patience and wholehearted support!
I would not have been able to pull this off without the help from the Chase Freedom Unlimited team, their cash back credit card, and my supportive family. It feels so great to know that I reaped the rewards as I ran swiftly towards the prize of my goals attained – my pilot video that launched in August! I am limited in the types of cards as I am an American living overseas, but Chase seems like a flexible card.
